🏔️ What made this stage unique
The only SUP event on a historic canal linking two alpine lakes. Magical paddling through wild reed beds and medieval villages, in the heart of an exceptional classified site.
Sheltered course
The canal protects from wind and waves — ideal for season openers and beginners.
Preserved nature
Paddle through reed beds and wildlife in a remarkable classified site.
Two distances for everyone
6 km fun with the current or 14.5 km competitive with a loop on Lake Bourget.
Chanaz village
Festive finish in the “Little Venice of Savoy” — restaurants, food trucks and great atmosphere.
Long Distance
Start downstream of the canal. A technical climb against the current, then the wild expanse of Lake Bourget opens up. U-turn off Châtillon beach, fast run back to Chanaz. A full course mixing technique and endurance.
Short Distance
The fun course. Ride the current down the canal between reed beds and wild nature to the Chanaz marina. Accessible to all, even motivated beginners!
The 2026 edition took place on 26 April. See you in spring 2027!
