The overall standings add up the points from the five rounds of the 2026 season: the GlaGla Race Freestyle (virtual challenge in January), Savières & Lac du Bourget (26 April), the Tropicale in Geneva (31 May), the Y-Plage Summer Race in Yverdon (4–5 July) and the Very Flat Race (4 October, Lake Aiguebelette), the final and the biggest field of the tour.

A rider is ranked as inflatable only if they raced the whole season on an inflatable board — a single race on a hard board puts them in the hard-board ranking. These are the same points as the overall standings, read differently. The “Category” column in the overall standings shows each rider’s board and their rank in their category; “—” when the board is not known. Age goes by calendar year: 60 in 2026.

🧮 How are the points calculated ?
In each race, the winner scores as many points as there were entries: one hundred entries, one hundred points to the winner ; fifty entries, fifty points. Second place scores one less, and so on down to the last finisher. The ranking used is the scratch one, all categories together — the Men, Women and Juniors tables are different ways of reading the same points, not separate scoring systems.

On top of that comes a bonus equal to the number of kilometres of the course, earned by every finisher: racing 14.5 km is worth 14.5 extra points.

Short formats — Technical Race, Sprint Race — are worth 5 participation points, plus a podium bonus of 12, 8 and 4 points per gender.

One consequence worth keeping in mind: the size of the field makes the value of a race. Winning ahead of 59 riders is worth more than winning ahead of 19. That is not an accident, that is the principle — racing several distances and several stages means collecting more points. The spirit of the Alpine Lakes Tour is, above all, to paddle together. 🌊
