Long Distance
Full circuit of Lake Aiguebelette. Flat water, pure speed and paddling technique front and centre. The course for racers who want to test themselves on the finest stretch of water in the region.
Short Distance
Half-lake tour to enjoy the beauty of the site. Open to all, with a perfect paddling surface for beginners and experienced alike. Starting at the same time as the long distance, at 10.00 a.m.
Nine buoys mark the course. Green: buoys 1 and 2, plus the left-hand buoy of gate P. Red: the right-hand buoy of the gate and buoys 3 to 7. At gate P the short distance turns left and heads back to Sougey beach, while the long distance carries on to the right towards Aiguebelette harbour. Buoy 7 is moored at the north end of the beach, so you finish along the sand. The finish line runs between a buoy on the water and a banner ashore, in the middle of the beach.

All 100 craft are taken. The cap was set with the managers of the Lac d’Aiguebelette nature reserve, and it will not move.
The waiting list is still open, and it works: we contact people in order of signing up as soon as a bib is released. The last one went that way, within hours.
🅿️ Access : Free car park about 300 m from the beach — vehicle access to the beach is reserved for the organisation. Carpooling encouraged.
🦺 Safety : Leash mandatory. Buoyancy aid optional. Water at 20 °C: no wetsuit needed, a shorty is recommended for the morning start.
