The 3rd stage of the Alpine Lakes Tour 2024, the Tropical Race Geneva will take place on Lake Geneva, departing from the Tropical Corner in Geneva! Merci de prévoir un gilet de sauvetage ou aide à la flottabilité 50 N CE.
La combinaison est obligatoire, de préférence un shorty. Il va faire chaud (25°c), l’eau est froide (10°C), le risque d’hydrocution est à son maximum.
En raison des très belles conditions météo, il risque d’y avoir plus de monde sur le canal de Savières que les années précédentes. La circulation est interdite 30 minutes au moment du départ. Ensuite vous devez naviguez en vous tenant sur la droite. Des Bateaux peuvent arriver en sens inverse.
Please bring a 50 N CE lifejacket or buoyancy aid. Leash and wetsuit or drysuit are compulsory.
The wetsuit is obligatory, preferably a shorty. It will be hot (25°C), the water is cold (10°C), the risk of hydrocution is at its maximum.
Due to the very good weather conditions, there are likely to be more people on the Savières canal than in previous years. Traffic is prohibited for 30 minutes upon departure. Then you must navigate while keeping to the right. Boats may arrive in the opposite direction.
METEO / WEATHER FORECAST
Alors qu’en 2022, il neigeait, que l’an dernier il faisait frais… On attend des conditions estivales ce week-end sur le Canal de Savières.
D’Annecy, sortir de l’autoroute à Alby sur Chéran et prendre la direction d’Albens puis du col de la Chambotte pour redescendre sur le lac du Bourget.
Avant d’entrer dans Chanaz, prendre la direction « Stade » « Camping les îles » « Port de plaisance » L’accès au site se fait au niveau du stade juste avant le camping par un chemin longeant la marina.
Le stationnement dans Chanaz est payant. Les hébergeurs ont soit leur propre hébergement soit offre des tickets de stationnement.
