For the second time in the Alpine Lakes Tour history, we will have more women than men competing ! Pour la seconde fois dans l’histoire de l’Alpine Lakes Tour nous aurons plus de femmes que d’hommes à courir !
We will have 38 competitors from France, 23 from Switzerland, 4 from Italy and 1 from Poland, 1 from Czech Republic, and one from England.
How to get to the Lake / Information sur l’accès au site
You have a large parking lot on “rue du lac” / Vous avez un grand parking au bout de la rue du Lac.

Go to the end of the street and follow the signs ! climb up to the entrance of the lake / Allez au bout de la rue du lac et suivez les panneaux , montez à pied jusqu’à l’entrée du lac.
You will have to pay CHF 12 for the entrance to the lake (free for the kids) / Vous aurez à payer CHF 12- pour l’entrée au lac souterrain.

Lunch / Food
For those who have booked the meals offered by the Frisé Gourmet, you will have to pay for them on site in Swiss Francs or Euros. Drinks will be offered in addition (2€/CHF2). For those who have not booked, we will have a few “hot Diots” with shallots to order (within the limit of stocks available on your arrival). The bar will be open for coffees and drinks.
Pour ceux qui ont réservé les repas proposés par le Frisé Gourmet, vous aurez à les régler sur place en Francs Suisses ou en Euros. Des boissons seront proposées en complément (2€/CHF2). Pour ceux qui n’ont pas réservé nous aurons quelques “hot Diots” aux échalotes à commander (dans la limite des stocks disponibles à votre arrivée). Le bar sera ouvert pour des cafés et boissons.

Les participants doivent être couvert par une assurance en responsabilité civile / Registered participants have to be insured with a liability insurance.
Les SUP sont fournis (Red Paddle Elite Race 26″ et 28″ en 12’6). Prévoyez de prendre votre pagaie. SUP are provided by the organizers. Take your paddle.
Wetsuits are recommended but not compulsory / Les combinaisons sont recommandées mais pas obligatoires.

The Alpine Paradise Race 2021 took place on Lake Place Moulin on saturday 25th. We had a sunny day with mild temperature. The Lake is at 2000m high in the Aosta Valley. It’s a really wild place with a confortable Refuge very close to the event location.
L’Alpine Paradise Race 2021 si è svolta sabato 25 sul Lake Place Moulin. Abbiamo avuto una giornata di sole con temperatura mite. Il Lago si trova a 2000 m di altezza in Valle d’Aosta. E’ un luogo davvero selvaggio con un confortevole Rifugio molto vicino alla location dell’evento.
L’Alpine Paradise Race 2021 s’est déroulée sur le lac Place Moulin le samedi 25. Nous avons eu une journée ensoleillée avec une température douce. Le lac est à 2000m d’altitude dans la Vallée d’Aoste. C’est un endroit vraiment sauvage avec un refuge confortable très proche du lieu de l’événement.
This exceptional stage at 2000 m altitude in the Aosta Valley (the valley on the Italian side of Mont Blanc) is taking place for the second time. It represents the pinnacle of the concept of stand up paddle racing in an alpine environment. i.e. Alpine Lakes Tour !
For accommodation: a refuge with sauna and jacuzzi just above the lake. There are still places left at the refuge, it’s very comfortable! There are double rooms, a small and a large dormitory, showers and even a Jacussi! The refuge atmosphere was truly one of the magical moments of the 1st edition in 2019! For those who prefer to sleep in the valley it is also possible or even in the dam parking lot.

Après ce long hiver de restrictions, nous aspirons tous à respirer.
After this long winter of restrictions, we all long to breathe.
Nous allons le faire dans les prochains jours après cette longue interruption avec l’envie de renaître, de tout reprendre depuis le début, quand le paddle n’était encore que le stand up paddle, où tous nous découvrions ce nouveau sport et ces planches à pagaie un peu bizarres.
We will do it in the next few days after this long hiatus with the desire to be reborn, to start everything from the beginning, where we were all discovering this new sport and these long boards a little weird.
En raison de la brusque dégradation de la situation sanitaire, la préfecture interdit tout rassemblement de plus de 6 personnes et nous oblige donc à annuler la Very Flat Race prévue le 1er novembre sur le lac d’Aiguebelette.
Nous allons voir avec Weezevent pour un remboursement rapide des inscriptions.
La Very Flat Race de l’Alpine Lakes Tour 2020 a été reportée au 1er novembre 2020 sur le lac d’Aiguebelette. En 2019, l’événement affichait complet 36 heures après l’ouverture des inscriptions…
