Ce sera donc la 5ème fois… Et c’est à chaque fois un bonheur et un émerveillement… Les inscriptions sont ouvertes (formulaire en bas de page). Le nombre de participants est limité à 120.

The WILD Race is one of the very special stages of the Alpine Lakes Tour building the legend… It’s the 5th edition and each time is just happiness and a sense of wonder…. Registration are now open (see below). Number of participants limited to a maximum of 120.

One month to go before the FAT Race on Lake Annecy ! Registrations are open. This is a very special Alpine Lakes Tour stage with a 30 km course around the lake celebrating the 5th anniversary of the Alpine Lakes Tour. A 1000€ Prize Money for the best man / woman scratch, the 2nd man / woman and the best in the Inflatable SUP category (Man/woman). We give exactly the same amount to men and women a rule we set at the GlaGla Race. The prize money is for competitors racing alone (it’s possible to race in a team)

Il reste un mois avant la FAT Race sur le lac d’Annecy ! Les inscriptions sont ouvertes (il y a déjà une cinquantaine de participants). Cette étape sera tout à fait spéciale avec pour la première fois un tour du lac complet (30 km) au programme pour fêter les 5 ans de l’Alpine Lakes Tour ! Un prize money de 1000€ sera attribué pour le meilleur homme / meilleure femme au scratch, le et la 2eme meilleure et le et la meilleur en gonflable. Comme pour la GlaGla Race, nous donnons une stricte égalité hommes/femmes sur la répartition du prize money. Ce prize money est réservé à la FAT Race en solo.

La prochaine étape de l’Alpine Lakes Tour aura lieu à Embrun et sur le lac de Serre-Ponçon ! Dragon & kids race, Beach Race et surtout pour la première fois un downwind sur un lac ! Le thermique souvent présent sur Serre Ponçon nous donne une bonne  probabilité d’une superbe course !

Ouverture des inscriptions FAT et POP Race

FAT RACE & POP RACE le 11 juinDans 2 mois exactement, le dimanche 11 juin aura lieu la 4e étape de l’Alpine Lakes Tour 2017. Cette étape est exceptionnelle à plusieurs titres. Elle marque le 4eme anniversaire de l’Alpine Lakes Tour lancée le 16 juin 2013. Elle aura lieu sur le lac d’Annecy, à Talloires, lieu mythique de la GlaGla Race.

In 2 months exactly, on june 11th the 4th stage of the Alpine Lakes Tour 2017 will occur. This stage will be huge for many reasons. It’s the 4th anniversary of the Alpine Lakes Tour (launched on June 16th, 2013). It will take place on Lake Annecy in Talloires, the legendary spot of the GlaGla Race.

Pour marquer le coup, nous lançons plusieurs défis en association avec l’association “à chacun son Everest” et notamment celui de faire le tour complet du lac d’Annecy en Stand Up Paddle, soit 30 km ! Elle porte bien son nom : FAT RACE !

To mark the occasion, we set several challenges with the association “à chacun son Everest” et especially to race all around Lake Annecy on a SUP ! That’s 30 km ! It’s name : the FAT RACE !

Downwind sur le lac de Serre-Ponçon à l’Outdoor Mix Festival !

Un downwind sur une étape de l’Alpine Lakes Tour ! Avec les organisateurs de l’Outdoor Mix Festival, nous vous proposons pour la 3e étape de l’Alpine Lakes Tour un downwind sur un lac ! Le lac de Serre Ponçon est réputé pour son thermique, profitons-en ! Le parcours fera un 11 km si les conditions sont bonnes. La course est autorisée au SUP Foil qui seront classés à part.

The Very Flat Race : 2e étape sur le lac d’Aiguebelette le 8 avril

a rainy but happy flat raceLa Very Flat Race est la 2eme étape de l’Alpine Lakes Tour 2017 après la GlaGla Race. Elle aura lieu le samedi 8 avril sur le lac d’Aiguebelette (Savoie). Le nombre de participants est limité à 100 en raison du classement du lac d’Aiguebelette en réserve naturelle protégée.

The Very Flat Race is Alpine Lakes Tour 2017 second stop (after the GlaGla Race). It will take place on April,8th. Registration opens today at 8 pm. Lake Aiguebelette just became a protected area, registration are limited, no more than 100 participants. Don’t be late to register !

The GlaGla Race is definitely not your average SUP race. While paddleboarding usually conjures up images of boardshorts, sun and sand, GlaGla takes the opposite approach. Instead of sand it’ll be snow, and in place of boardies you’ll find full-length winter gear.

But those paddlers who aren’t afraid of the cold will certainly be rewarded: Lake Annecy (or lac d’Annecy) is a beautiful part of the world, with the Alps rising high above the lake to create lasting imagery.

Named after the French equivalent of “Brrr, it’s freezing!” the “GlaGla” race will be a very special way to kick off the new year. For those who can make the trip to the Alps near the border between France and Switzerland, the event offers a full day of winter racing with several different courses on offer, while the sight of 300+ paddlers charging off the line will surely be something to behold (let’s get those drones going).”

Probably the largest stand up paddle winter race in the world

glagla race the freezing cold raceOn January 21st, 2017, the 4th edition of the GlaGla Race (understand the Brrrr Brrrr Race in French … as in freezing COLD!) is taking place in Talloires, Lake Annecy – France.

For the latest edition, 200 paddlers from all regions of France and also from Spain, Germany, Austria, Italy and Switzerland, took on the GlaGla Race challenge : paddling in the Alps in the middle of winter, on a lake at 6°c! In 2015 the water temperature was 4°c! As the number of participants double each year, we expect at least 300 paddlers in 2017. For the first time this year there will be €3,500 prize money for the Long Distance (Men & Women) races.

Les inscriptions pour l’étape de l’Alpine Lakes Tour du 8 octobre sur le canal de Savières sont ouvertes !

Les 2 courses seront suivies de la remise des prix pour le classement général 2016 avec les magnifiques trophées conçus par TimberSUP et les lots offerts par nos partenaires : Red Paddle, Supskin, F-One, Manera, Rubbish, Mood et le Nautic ! Il y aura notamment une combinaison Supskin, une place pour le Paris SUP Crossing, une bague Mood, des pagaies carbones F-One et Red Paddle à gagner !

Frais d’inscription

Des réductions sont offertes aux clubs partenaires de l’Alpine Lakes Tour. La liste des clubs partenaires en 2016.

  • Longue distance (10 km) : 25 €
  • Courte distance (5 km) : 15 €

Pour les – 25 ans, les clubs partenaires, tarifs réduits. Longue distance : 20€, courte distance : 10€.
