La Very Flat Race a eu lieu le 2 octobre dernier sur le lac d’Aiguebelette. C’est une étape très appécie de l’Alpine Lakes Tour sur un lac très calme, d’où le nom de la course : la Very Flat Race. Une fois de plus, elle a bien porté son nom avec de très belles conditions ensoleillée, sans vent, même l’après-midi pour la beach race, la kids race et la Dragon Race.
The Very Flat Race took place on October 2 on Lake Aiguebelette. It is a very popular stage of the Alpine Lakes Tour on a very calm lake, hence the name of the race: the Very Flat Race. Once again, it lived up to its name with very nice sunny conditions, without wind, even in the afternoon for the beach race, the kids race and the Dragon Race.
Pour bien accueillir les participants, partenaires et public, nous avons besoin d’une trentaine de bénévoles ! Venez rejoindre l’équipe d’organisation ! Toutes les bonnes volontés sont les bienvenues ! Pas besoin de savoir faire du paddle, ni d’avoir une expérience quelconque ! Bonne humeur et bonne volonté indispensables en revanche !

Registration for the GlaGla Race 2023 opened yesterday evening and 100 participants registered alreday ! That’s the strongest start ever with competitors from France, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, the Netherlands, Israël, the USA, Germany, Italy !

Very nice edition of the Very Flat Race on Lake Aiguebelette yesterday, Sunday October 2. Limited to 100 participants due to its classification as a nature reserve, the event was full! A complete summary of the day very quickly!

La température de l’eau est de 18°c, la température de l’air devrait être de 13 degrés au petit matin pour monter à 20°c l’après-midi. Des nuages devraient être encore présents le matin pour faire place ensuite au soleil 🙂 Pas de vent a priori le matin et vent 10 km/h d’ouest l’après midi.

Plus que 2 jours avant la Very Flat Race dernière étape de l’Alpine Lakes Tour 2022 qui avait commencé le 22 janvier dernier avec la GlaGla Race ! Après une magnifique BAT Race, puis l’étape du lac du Bourget et du Canal de Savières et enfin la Tropical Race, c’est sur une grande classique que nous terminons la saison ! Il sera dès la semaine temps de préparer la GlaGla Race 2023 ! Ouverture des inscriptions la semaine du 10 octobre.
Only 2 days left before the Very Flat Race, the last stage of the Alpine Lakes Tour 2022 which started on January 22 with the GlaGla Race! After a magnificent BAT Race, then the Lac du Bourget and Canal de Savières stage and finally the Tropical Race, we are ending the season with a great classic! It will be time to prepare for the GlaGla Race 2023 this week! Registration opens the week of October 10.

La sécheresse qui sévit actuellement sur l’Europe de l’Ouest touche particulièrement le nord de l’Italie.

Le niveau du lac de Place Moulin est extremement bas et la société qui gère le barrage nous a avertit que les conditions ne permettent pas d’organiser l’Alpine Paradise Race cette année malheureusement.

For the 3rd year in a row, the aficionados of the Alpine Lakes Tour had an appointment at the Tropical Corner in Geneva (Switzerland). Once again the event has kept all its promises both on the water and on land! A big thank you to all the competitors from Switzerland, France and Italy!
