Les participants doivent être couvert par une assurance en responsabilité civile / Registered participants have to be insured with a liability insurance.

Les SUP sont fournis (Red Paddle Elite Race 26″ et 28″ en 12’6). Prévoyez de prendre votre pagaie. SUP are provided by the organizers. Take your paddle.

Wetsuits are recommended but not compulsory / Les combinaisons sont recommandées mais pas obligatoires.

BAT Race registration opening / ouverture des inscriptions BAT Race

The BAT is BACK ! 3 years after the first underground stand up paddle race ever, the BAT Race will be held again on Lake Saint Leonard (Switzerland) on march 10-11th.

La BAT is BACK ! 3 ans après une première mondiale, la BAT Race, aura lieu à nouveau sur le plus grand lac souterrain d’Europe à Saint Léonard dans le canton du Valais, en Suisse les 10 et 11 mars !

For this very unusual Alpine Lakes Tour stage on a very special lake, we want it to be really fun ! We would like to have as many people as possible racing in super heroes costumes, or at least something funny matching with the spot.

Everyone will be racing on Red Paddle Inflatable boards.

There will be a main race based on sprints. Everybody will race at least twice. There will also be a tandem race to have something really funny !

A kids race will also be held.

For the lunch, we will have a local Food Truck : le Frisé Gourmet with nice meals such as chili con carne or veggie thaï food or soups and the famous French pastry “canelé” as a dessert.

On saturday night we will have a live concert on the lake ! Folk music with Jaylis

Pour cette étape pas comme les autres de l’Alpine Lakes Tour, encore plus exceptionnelle, nous voulons quelque chose de vraiment fun en essayant d’accueillir le plus de monde possible. Nous aimerions que chacun viennent déguisé… Le thème étant bien naturellement celui des super héros ! Mais tout le monde n’est pas obligé d’être en Batman ou Batwomen…. L’idée est d’avoir un déguisement en rapport avec ce spot si original !

Tout le monde courra sur des planches gonflables Red Paddle. (fournies)

La course principale sera sous forme de sprints. Chaque participant fera au moins 2 courses. Il y aura aussi une course en tandem pour tous les participants à la course principale. Histoire d’avoir quelque chose de vraiment drôle !

Une Kids Race (déguisée) sera aussi organisée.

Pour le repas, nous aurons un food truck local : le Frisé Gourmet avec des plats sympas comme un chili con carne ou un curry thaï végétarien ou encore des soupes. En dessert, sa spécialité : le canelé !

Le samedi soir concert Folk avec le groupe Jaylis qui se produira en duo acoustique.

Pour le déjeuner de CHF 12.- à CHF 13.- le plat principal.

Résultats BAT RACE Results

La première mondiale en stand up paddle sur le plus grand lac souterrain d’Europe c’était hier ! La BAT RACE course d’ouverture de l’Alpine Lakes Tour 2015 a vu la victoire en finale du français Jérémy Teulade devant le Suisse Dani Reinhart et le Slovène Rok Puvar ! Chez les femmes, Nicole Reinhart (Suisse) devance Laurence Joubel (France) et Virginia Roussel (France).

The first Underground SUP RACE took place yesterday in Switzerland for the opening of the Alpine Lakes Tour 2015. Jérémy Teulade (France) won in the finals. Dani Reinhart (Switzerland) is second and Rok Puvar (Slovenia) third. Nicole Reinhart (Switzerland) is the first woman, Laurence Joubel (France) second and Virginia Roussel (France) third.

Cette course avait lieu sur le lac souterrain de Saint Léonard, dans le Valais (Suisse)

BAT RACE : Liste attente / waiting list

La liste des 40 participants qui ont réussi à s’inscrire, rappelons le en moins de 3 minutes, mardi dernier pour la BAT RACE, a été confirmée hier. Pour l’instant aucun désistement. Nous publions ci-dessous la liste d’attente qui évoluera en fonction des éventuels désistements. Nous avons cherché une solution pour accueillir un peu plus de monde. Ça ne sera pas possible, malheureusement.

We published yesterday the list of the competitors for the BAT RACE who managed to register in less than 3 minutes (maybe less). We publish today a waiting list in case some of the competitors cancel their registration. Nobody did so far.
