Au scratch, Samuel Carbillet (BN Sciez, France) l’emporte en 1h13’31” à tout juste 18 ans loin devant Nick Crettenand (SUP Spirit, Suisse) – 1h15’40” et Ugo Clay (Annecy SUP Club, France) – 1h16’56”.

150 participants inscrits de 6 nationalités différentes ! Tous les niveaux étaient représentés, des pratiquants occasionnels au Champion de France Junior de SUP technical race 2016 et la championne d’Italie ! Des conditions très contrastées par rapport aux précédents de canicule avec du brouillard et une température de 14°c !

Accès au site et au lac de Roselend
Le lac de Roselend est un lac de montagne avec un barrage EDF. Nous avons une autorisation exceptionnelle pour organiser cet événement et vous permettre de naviguer. Il y a des règles strictes à respecter.
La navigation est strictement réservée aux concurrents inscrits et aux personnes participants aux courses et animations. La baignade est interdite et aucune embarcation n’est autorisée sur le lac. Certaines zones sont dangereuses et strictement interdites d’accès.
Le “village” de départ / arrivée de l’événement est situé à l’extrémité nord du lac. En arrivant par Albertville et Beaufort, prendre la direction “Cormet de Roselend”. Juste après le col de Méraillet, vous apercevrez le lac. Continuez sur 2 km. Garez vous dans le virage juste avant que la route ne remonte en direction du Cormet. Descendez à pied jusqu’au bord du lac vous verrez les tentes et oriflammes de l’Alpine Lakes Tour et ses partenaires. Les véhicules peuvent stationner le long de la route. Il y a un parking au dessus du lac après le virage pour remonter vers le Cormet.
One month to go before the FAT Race on Lake Annecy ! Registrations are open. This is a very special Alpine Lakes Tour stage with a 30 km course around the lake celebrating the 5th anniversary of the Alpine Lakes Tour. A 1000€ Prize Money for the best man / woman scratch, the 2nd man / woman and the best in the Inflatable SUP category (Man/woman). We give exactly the same amount to men and women a rule we set at the GlaGla Race. The prize money is for competitors racing alone (it’s possible to race in a team)
Il reste un mois avant la FAT Race sur le lac d’Annecy ! Les inscriptions sont ouvertes (il y a déjà une cinquantaine de participants). Cette étape sera tout à fait spéciale avec pour la première fois un tour du lac complet (30 km) au programme pour fêter les 5 ans de l’Alpine Lakes Tour ! Un prize money de 1000€ sera attribué pour le meilleur homme / meilleure femme au scratch, le et la 2eme meilleure et le et la meilleur en gonflable. Comme pour la GlaGla Race, nous donnons une stricte égalité hommes/femmes sur la répartition du prize money. Ce prize money est réservé à la FAT Race en solo.
Yesterday the second stop of the Alpine Lakes Tour 2017, the Very Flat Race took place on Lake Aiguebelette (France). 5 races were schedulded : Long distance (15 km), Short Distance (4,5 km), kids race, Technical Race and Dragon Race !
Des conditions superbes avec un very nice soleil, une very nice ambiance conviviale et un lac very flat !
Tout d’abord un grand merci à nos partenaires : Red Paddle Co, partenaire sportif principal, Rubbish, Mood, F-One, Supskin, Manera, Get Up Mag, le Nautic, Blue1310.
Un grand merci à la CCLA (Communauté de Communes du Lac d’Aiguebelette), la commune de Saint Alban Montbel, le camping du Sougey qui nous aidé à organiser cette étape.
Également un grand merci aux bénévoles ! En particulier Sarah et Sébastien pour la préparation et Nathalie, Laure, Mathilde, Élodie, Marie, Guillaume, Miguel, Phil & Phil, Kenny et Florian.

La tendance météo est bonne avec 17°c prévus et du soleil 🙂 En revanche la température de l’eau du lac risque d’être encore fraiche, prévoir une combinaison type long john.
Un repas sera prévu à midi avec un nouveau Food Truck : le Globe Trucker. Un menu “classique” et un menu végétarien seront proposés.
10 days to go before the Very Flat Race on Lake Aiguebelette. Registration are closed, we reach the maximum number of participants a few weeks ago. Weather forecast is good : 17°c and sun. Nevertheless the temperature of the water may still be cold : take your wetsuit !

The GlaGla Race is definitely not your average SUP race. While paddleboarding usually conjures up images of boardshorts, sun and sand, GlaGla takes the opposite approach. Instead of sand it’ll be snow, and in place of boardies you’ll find full-length winter gear.
But those paddlers who aren’t afraid of the cold will certainly be rewarded: Lake Annecy (or lac d’Annecy) is a beautiful part of the world, with the Alps rising high above the lake to create lasting imagery.
Named after the French equivalent of “Brrr, it’s freezing!” the “GlaGla” race will be a very special way to kick off the new year. For those who can make the trip to the Alps near the border between France and Switzerland, the event offers a full day of winter racing with several different courses on offer, while the sight of 300+ paddlers charging off the line will surely be something to behold (let’s get those drones going).”
Les inscriptions pour la GlaGla Race 2017 sont ouvertes. Chaque année depuis la première édition en 2014 le nombre de participants double et nous sommes à chaque fois arrivés au nombre maximum autorisé… Donc inscrivez vous dès que vous pouvez !
