La sécheresse sur les Alpes nous oblige à annuler l’Alpine Paradise Race / The drought on the Alps forces us to cancel the Alpine Paradise Race

La sécheresse qui sévit actuellement sur l’Europe de l’Ouest touche particulièrement le nord de l’Italie.

The current drought in Western Europe is particularly affecting northern Italy.

Le niveau du lac de Place Moulin est extremement bas et la société qui gère le barrage nous a avertit que les conditions ne permettent pas d’organiser l’Alpine Paradise Race cette année malheureusement.

The level of the Place Moulin lake is extremely low and the company that manages the dam has warned us that the conditions do not allow the Alpine Paradise Race to be organized this year unfortunately.

Nous vous donnons rendez vous en 2023 le week-end du 23 et 24 septembre 2023.

Pour les personnes déjà inscrites, vous serez prioritaires pour l’inscription à la Very Flat Race (limité à 100 participants) ou à une autre course. Vous pourrez aussi choisir d’être remboursé.

For those already registered, you will have priority for registration for the Very Flat Race (limited to 100 participants) or for another race. You can also choose to be reimbursed.

Chaude ambiance à la Tropical Race ! Warm atmosphere at the Tropical Race :-)

For the 3rd year in a row, the aficionados of the Alpine Lakes Tour had an appointment at the Tropical Corner in Geneva (Switzerland). Once again the event has kept all its promises both on the water and on land! A big thank you to all the competitors from Switzerland, France and Italy!

Pour la 3eme année d’affilée, les aficionados de l’Alpine Lakes Tour avaient rendez-vous au Tropical Corner à Genève (Suisse). Une nouvelle fois l’événement a tenu toutes ses promesses tant sur l’eau qu’à terre ! Un grand merci à tous les compétiteurs venus de Suisse, France et Italie !

The tropical Race : a stage of the Alpine Lakes Tour starting from the Tropical Corner in a sporty and festive atmosphere! Good burgers, good lemonades and beers for after the race 😉

Programme spécial pour cette Tropical Race au Tropical Corner avec une longue (10km) et courte distance (5 km) le matin, même départ. Nous aurons l’après-midi une Dragon Race et une Kids Race en tout début d’après-midi.

Special program for this Tropical Race at the Tropical Corner with a long (10km) and short distance (5 km) departure in the morning at the same time. We will have a Dragon Race in the afternoon and a Kids Race at the very beginning of the afternoon.

Alpine Paradise Race 2022 : registration is now open !

Alpine Paradise Race : registration form

The Alpine Lakes Stage named “Alpine Paradise Race” will be held in Italy (Aosta Valley) high in the mountains on a beautiful turquoise blue lake on saturday september 24th and sunday 25th, 2022. There is a very cosy hut just 50 m over the lake and the start line where we can host 76 people. It is also possible to set up a few tents close to the hut or to book a hotel (or other lodging / airbnb) in the valley of Valpelline in Bionaz in particular.

Leman Crossing

The Leman Crossing is a race imagined in 2017, an ambitious project which was slowed down by several factors and in particular the COVID in 2020 and 2021. We hoped to be able to launch it this year. Unfortunately this will not be possible, there is still work to do for this event to take off! We are going to reconnoite the course tomorrow with the volunteers of the Alpine Lakes Tour team and look forward to seeing you in 2023 for a magnificent LEMAN CROSSING.

La Leman Crossing est une course imaginée en 2017, un projet ambitieux qui a été freiné par plusieurs facteurs et notamment le COVID en 2020 et 2021. Nous espérions pouvoir la lancer cette année. Malheureusement ce ne sera pas possible, il y a encore du travail à faire pour que cet événement puisse prendre son envol ! Nous allons refaire demain une reconnaissance du parcours avec les bénévoles de la team Alpine Lakes Tour et vous donnons rendez vous en 2023 pour une magnifique LEMAN CROSSING.

Lake Geneva is the largest lake in western Europe ! We created a new Alpine Lakes Tour Race to discover this incredible lake in full : the LEMAN CROSSING. Build a team of 6 to 8 people, we provide the board (unless you have one). It’s more than a race, it’s an adventure with very varied landscapes !

Le lac Léman est le plus grand lac d’Europe ! Nous avons créé une nouvelle étape de Alpine Lakes Tour : la LEMAN CROSSING, pour vous permettre de découvrir cet incroyable lac dans son intégralité. Constituez une équipe de 6 à 8 personnes, nous fournissons le Dragon (paddle à 4, sauf si vous en avez un). C’est plus qu’une course, c’est une aventure avec des paysages très variés !

Friday January, 21th 2022

  • 11 am : Welcome coffee / tea + bib pick up
  • 2pm – 5pm: clinics, conferences, talks
  • 3.30 pm : Paddle Yoga + Sauna (30€)
  • bib pick up until 9 pm

Vendredi 21 janvier 2022

  • 11h : Accueil des participants et retrait des dossards
  • 11h : activité du matin (plus d’infos très vite)
  • 12h00 : Déjeuner (plusieurs food trucks seront présents)
  • 14h-17h : Activités de l’après-midi : conférences, discussions, clinics, paddle yoga, Sauna, massages.
  • Retrait des dossards jusqu’à 21h
