100 registered participants for the registration opening : new record !
Registration for the GlaGla Race 2023 opened yesterday evening and 100 participants registered alreday ! That’s the strongest start ever with competitors from France, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, the Netherlands, Israël, the USA, Germany, Italy !
Les inscriptions pour la GlaGla Race 2023 ont ouvert hier soir et 100 participants se sont déjà inscrits ! C’est le meilleur départ de tous les temps avec des compétiteurs de France, Suisse, Autriche, Suède, Pays-Bas, Israël, USA, Allemagne, Italie !
Très belle édition de la Very Flat Race sur le lac d’Aiguebelette hier, dimanche 2 octobre. Limité à 100 participants en raison de son classement en réserve naturelle, l’événement a fait le plein ! Un résumé complet de la journée très vite !

Very nice edition of the Very Flat Race on Lake Aiguebelette yesterday, Sunday October 2. Limited to 100 participants due to its classification as a nature reserve, the event was full! A complete summary of the day very quickly!

La température de l’eau est de 18°c, la température de l’air devrait être de 13 degrés au petit matin pour monter à 20°c l’après-midi. Des nuages devraient être encore présents le matin pour faire place ensuite au soleil 🙂 Pas de vent a priori le matin et vent 10 km/h d’ouest l’après midi.

La sécheresse qui sévit actuellement sur l’Europe de l’Ouest touche particulièrement le nord de l’Italie.

Le niveau du lac de Place Moulin est extremement bas et la société qui gère le barrage nous a avertit que les conditions ne permettent pas d’organiser l’Alpine Paradise Race cette année malheureusement.
The level of the Place Moulin lake is extremely low and the company that manages the dam has warned us that the conditions do not allow the Alpine Paradise Race to be organized this year unfortunately.

For the 3rd year in a row, the aficionados of the Alpine Lakes Tour had an appointment at the Tropical Corner in Geneva (Switzerland). Once again the event has kept all its promises both on the water and on land! A big thank you to all the competitors from Switzerland, France and Italy!

The Alpine Lakes Stage named “Alpine Paradise Race” will be held in Italy (Aosta Valley) high in the mountains on a beautiful turquoise blue lake on saturday september 24th and sunday 25th, 2022. There is a very cosy hut just 50 m over the lake and the start line where we can host 76 people. It is also possible to set up a few tents close to the hut or to book a hotel (or other lodging / airbnb) in the valley of Valpelline in Bionaz in particular.

The Leman Crossing is a race imagined in 2017, an ambitious project which was slowed down by several factors and in particular the COVID in 2020 and 2021. We hoped to be able to launch it this year. Unfortunately this will not be possible, there is still work to do for this event to take off! We are going to reconnoite the course tomorrow with the volunteers of the Alpine Lakes Tour team and look forward to seeing you in 2023 for a magnificent LEMAN CROSSING.
La Leman Crossing est une course imaginée en 2017, un projet ambitieux qui a été freiné par plusieurs facteurs et notamment le COVID en 2020 et 2021. Nous espérions pouvoir la lancer cette année. Malheureusement ce ne sera pas possible, il y a encore du travail à faire pour que cet événement puisse prendre son envol ! Nous allons refaire demain une reconnaissance du parcours avec les bénévoles de la team Alpine Lakes Tour et vous donnons rendez vous en 2023 pour une magnifique LEMAN CROSSING.
